COUPLES, MARRIAGE & TEENAGERS

COUNSELLING TEENAGERS
Will my teenager benefit from therapy?
Teenagers require a balance between structure and freedom
as well as independence and dependence. I apply this in my therapy approach to counselling teenagers. We meet as two separate Individuals, one not more superior than the other. The emphasis is to build a strong and supportive relationship away from the pressure of home, school,
peers and parents.

COUPLES AND
FAMILY THERAPY
Family Therapy allows us to uncover and address the deeper, unconscious dynamics in your relationship and family system.
Each of us, single or partnered, is influenced by our family of origin.
We are all part of an already existing groups,
and whether or not we understand its dynamics,
we are extremely loyal to it.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?
We start with a 1 hour individual session for each person to discuss the situation.
The second session is joined and lasts for 1.5 hours.
Sessions are ongoing until partners decide that they have achieved a satisfying outcome.

-
Themes that need attention
-
Finding tools and strategies to progress in a meaningful way
-
Agreeing on practical ways to move forward
-
Finding common ground and navigating points of difference
FAMILY AND SYSTEMIC CONSTELLATIONS
Family Constellations address the larger energy system around us,
our ancestral lineage.
Family constellation demonstrate that many of our deepest struggles
may not have started with us. They are unconscious ways of balancing
trauma that occurred in our lineage.
The emerging science of epigenetics proves that trauma is inherited.
It impacts us without our knowing, because love and loyalty to our
ancestors is expressed in unconscious ways that can hinder our growth
and happiness. Everything that is unresolved moves forward
into the next generation.
